Bukkehorn of the trumpet-blown type, with 4+1 finger holes and a root note between E and Ab (most commonly). The colours range from black to white, and everything in between.
If you have specific preferences, such as a desired fundamental tone or other details, you can include them as a comment with your order. The horns and their sound are shaped by the nature of the goat, but I will do my best to accommodate your wishes.

The bukkehorn is, quite simply, a goat horn with a mouthpiece and finger holes, making it one of the oldest and most fascinating instruments in Norway. Originally used by shepherds for scaring or signaling, it later evolved to include finger holes (4+1) and took on a more musical purpose. With a quality horn and basic lip technique, you can play beautiful and delicate melodies.
